mudroom solution

I've been searching for a boot tray. Sounds like an easy task, doesn't it? Well, we're a big-footed bunch around here so most standard options out there won't fully contain our boots! Also, we don't have a mudroom (just a "spot" for stuff at the back door) so I need something that can easily be moved to another spot. I think I may have found a solution: a seagrass basket from Restoration Hardware (shown above). The basket comes in three sizes, including one just right for our messy rain and work boots! I'll probably add a rubber liner of some sort to protect the bottom and catch dirt/water. Find a similar basket (in a set of three) at Ballard Designs.
